Today was a big day!
Of course, everyone is logging on to see how Richard’s appointment went.
It went well. According to his doctors, he is doing something on the line of “okey-dokey-ish.” They were pretty non committal. Nothing looked bad, but they really couldn’t tell yet. Richard is recovering at the clip it was expected that he would recover and his tumor has shrunk by a third! As unrealistic as it seems now, I had assumed that we would find out something more definitive. I was expecting dancing in the streets, but apparently they won’t call it cured for a minimum of five years, mostly because they don’t know. But he is okayed for travel back east this fall.
Jersey Shore, here we come!
I also got a fax this morning. I have paid for my house. It has been very confusing for the last month, with me spending hours on the phone with a computer. Suddenly last nightthe computer realized he didn’t know what was going on. The computer got a person. A real live person who said that the loan was paid in full. I asked her to fax that to me and she did. I don’t think she was right, but I have a letter saying I have paid for the house!
Do I feel a Tango coming on?

The Blog is still fighting me.
Explanation of sorts
Okay, Blogspot and I are obviously not communicating well. I am no longer able to do picture and text in the same post. I'm guessing I've abused my photo and text privileges, and now I need to work within the parameters of the photo or text rule book. It ain’t pretty, but I will get by. My last post was of items that were Wayno’s. I have made the offer to his family that any of the items I list that they would like to have, are theirs. So, details that I meant to include with the photos. Doily #1: I’m pretty sure Wayno made this crocheted item. It oddly curls around the edges. Doily #2: Wayno definitely made this one. I am keeping one that is very similar. Doily #3: Wayno may have made this one, or possibly Sally. I suppose it is not entirely impossible that Dianne made this. I know I didn’t. The Candlesticks: May have been Wayn’s, may not have been his. I’m just not sure where they came from. The decanter is heavy, and although it came with Wayn, I never felt that it had any great value to him, but it is a very nice piece of glass. The cobalt pitcher is vintage Wayno! And the odd nut in the brass holder: I really don’t know what either are, but they are definitely screaming “Wayn!”
