And.....

Siding is going up on the bump out!

And the garden isn't embarrassing this year!

Wild cat alert! Wild cat alert!

A rare and extremely dangerous black panther has been spotted in the Upper Hood River Valley!

He is armed and dangerous!!! (Okay, technically clawed and dangerous)

DO NOT PROVOKE HIM!!!

I got in a fight yesterday!

Some belligerent bush slapped me in the eye!

If you think I look bad, you should see the bush!

It was the Oregon chainsaw massacre!

Remember that hideous, worn floor I had in the pantry?

Well, forget it! I got me a brand-spanking new floor! And I put it down myself!

Okay, the trim boards still need to be put down, but I am claiming a moral victory!

Exciting new pictures of the house!

Logan has been doing really boring stuff, like plumbing (oh, and for the record, I did the plumbing), taking out the dry rot under the front door, and connecting to the East Fork Irrigation again (oh, and for the record, I connected to the irrigation). I am so talented!

But there are finally some pics of importance:

The cover over my soon to be new front stoop from the northwest!

And the view of the cover over my new front stoop from the southwest!

And I just because I love this season! The lilacs are about to bloom in full force!!!

5:30AM

The view from my back porch. It is going to be a beautiful day!

I'd like to thank my beloved Max for waking me up at 3:30AM, so that I could be fully functioning and thoroughly enjoy the sunrise. He is such a good cat.

And a Happy Day-After Monther's Day to you all!

I even got you a bouquet of flowers!

And finally

A water resistant, semi-airtight bump out!

Pictures of renovation!

The morning of Day Three of Part Two: the last time I ever saw my windows. That isn't the truth, the are sitting in the front yard as we speak!

The morning of Day Four of Part Two: it did drop to 38 that night. Reminded me of the winter of '88-'89, when I was missing the north wall to my house!

The end of Day Four of Part 2: I have a bay window with invisible walls and roof! So stylish this season!

The end of Day Five of Part Two: The is walls and roof rafter and soon the will be windows and a roof! Hopefully this is my last cold night!

And a "Happy Birthday" to my dear sister

I'm not telling you her age, because I can't count that far!

Day Two of Part Two of the Remodel!

(Oh, and if you think I will never get the day and part number wrong, you are sadly mistaken!)

I stepped out to run a few errands this morning, came home to find someone has stolen my upper deck!

It shakes my faith in humanity!

I had to share this!

The view from my upstairs window this afternoon!

Day One of Part Two of the Home Remodel!

This morning I had a picturesque (but dilapidated) front porch:

This afternoon, there was nowhere to sit and watch the thunderstorm!

I tell you! Give Logan a hammer and crowbar and you never know what he will tear off!

Spring has sprung!

Our first nice day of the year! In the mid seventies, crystal clear and light breeze! Perfect don't get much better than this! And the trees are in bloom:

The garden is sort of started!

St. Francis of Assisi approves. Trust me, this is his happy face. You should have seen his look of disdain last winter when he was over his head in snow!
