And now we are in Germany!

After a quick drive into Luxembourg (with a stop at what has to be the worlds largest truck stop) we are in Germany. Today wasn’t without some tribulations. Our new  GPS took a break, stranding us temporarily at a cemetery. But we persevered. 

Tomorrow is Munich!

The adventure continues!

First, my phone is still not speaking to itself, so for now, just paint your own picture. 

Karla and I have explored Compiègne, Soissons, Chalons-en-Champagne, Verdun, and quite by accident, Briey. We are spending the night in Briey because we can’t find our way out! And we are tired and found a nice hotel along a river!

Oh, and beware of the parking garage in Chalons-en-Champagne. You can get in, but getting out is a challenge. It includes doing the limbo!

It is the morning after the miserable flight to Europe. Somehow, both Karla and I survived. I think. 

Our room is tiny (100 sq. feet), with a unique bathroom, but it is clean and warm. Really all we need.

Time to go explore.
