Taking a leap.
By the way, Happy Leap Day to you all!!!
I’m going to take a leap of faith and get real political. I think I’ve just thought up the solution to one of America’s great problems: abortion.
Now don’t you all get up in arms, I really think this is a good idea.
First let me state my personal beliefs. I have never been pregnant. I have never been involved in any situation that could have made someone pregnant. Abortion is not my decision, so I am pro-choice. Does that mean I am pro-abortion? Absolutely not.. I will say, that there are cases where I feel abortion is a step above the alternative, but I also believe in Oregon’s assisted suicide law, and I am not a fan of suicide. There are time when absolute certainty doesn’t apply.
So here is my idea, and I don’t think it is too far fetched. Considering all the medical advancements that have been made in the recent years, considering the fact that they can make a baby in a test tube, don’t you think that if the best minds put their wits together, that they couldn’t come up with a way to extract a fetus from its mother and keep in safe and warm for 6 or 7 or however many months until it can safely exit the “womb”?
Ethical questions to answer, for sure. .
I don’t know of any such study going on, but doesn’t it make sense?
Or maybe I’m really stupid, and it’s impossible.
