New house: total shambles.

Two newcomers to the front entry.

Lavender is beautiful! The plant to his left, your right, is Juan's Second Cousin. 2nd doesn't know it yet, but he is about to be ripped out by his roots and replace by Lavender. Don't worry, Juan's 1st and 3rd Cousins (not pictured) will remain.

You may wonder about Zzyzx Rock. Well, suffice to say there is an exit between Las Vegas and Menifee called "Zzyzx Road". Unless you are looking for an interesting rock or you are studying the Mojave Desert, there is no reason to take the exit.

I did. I got a rock.

My world fell apart...

when the NCAA canceled the women's basketball tourney.

IT WAS THE YEAR OF THE DUCKS!!!!

I went into a deep depression. I needed to get out of the funk. What would make me happy?

The answer was simple. I would really like to have a cat the didn't run from me (aka Duchess) and a cat that didn't threaten my physical well being (aka Billie Jean).

So.....

I would like to introduce you to my two new kittens:

CAESAR (l) and AUGUSTUS (r).

Ain't they cute? 

And when Duchess abandons me and Billie Jean abuses me, they are always there for me!
