Hi there,
I attempted to email you, but Outlook wouldn't let me. Just wanted to let you know that I just finished reading your blog in its entirety not too long ago. I don't remember what I was googling to stumble upon it, but I'm glad I did. I have been trying to think of what to write to let you know you have a reader on the East Coast without sounding like a total creepster, but nothing sounded right. I wanted to try regardless. Here I am.
I am so very sorry for the loss of your husband. I can't imagine the pain, and I wish there were some way I could help from so far away. I used to live smackdab in the middle of the DC metro area, but have since moved to the outer 'burbs of it in Jefferson County, WV. I know it isn't the same, but I lost my mother 3 years ago, and I'm still reeling. Your blog is very therapeutic because you express some of my emotions that I can't identify or really even knew were there.
Plus, you're hilarious. I can dig it.
