Okay, I am officially pissed.

My oncologist, shortly after my visit on January 3rd, put in a request to my insurance company for a CT scan. This is not radical treatment; this is exactly what Richard went through and what was explained to me that I would go through, even before I had surgery.

I received a letter in mid-January from my insurance company, saying that they received the request and would respond in a timely manner.

I received an email yesterday (okay, not exactly an email, but close), putting off my appointment for a week, with no disclosed reason.

I received a letter today from my insurance company, explaining that they received a request from my thoracic surgeon, requesting that I have a CT scan, and that they would respond in a timely manner.

For those of you who rail against the ACA. It isn’t the ACA, it is the insurance companies.

If I find a boyfriend in Canada or France (or any other civilized country), I will be out of here so quick your head will spin!
