The scene of the crime with the mourning Allen family. The matriarch and eldest child are gone. As is the aloe custom, the deceased is covered in red with its roots showing. The eldest son is unmentioned, as some believe he may be the killer.
The Alvarez's are in mourning also. Mrs. Allen and Mrs. Alvarez were sisters. The loss is almost overwhelming for this clan.
The Inlaws and the Outlaws also mourn. There are relations by marriage and that kind of thing with the Allens, but it still kicks them in the gut.
And Ambrose and his family. He moved away to the front porch long ago. His mother is gone.
He was unable to go back for the service.
